ARRDEL is a non-profit association established under the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.

Its purpose is to:

  • Contribute to the socio-economic development of the populations of Cameroon’s municipalities;
  • Strengthen the capacities of decentralized local authorities and the private sector in order to promote growth and employment.

ARRDEL aims to contribute to the socio-economic development of the populations of the communes and territories of Cameroon and to strengthen the capacities of decentralized territorial authorities and the private sector in order to promote development, growth and employment.

Nos objectifs

The overall objective is to support socio-economic development initiatives, with a view to contributing to the improvement of living conditions for the population.

Specific objectives of the association
  •  Support decentralized local authorities (DLAs) in developing and implementing Municipal Sustainable Development Plans (MSDPs) and Regional Sustainable Development Plans (RSDPs).
  • Identify opportunities to promote development in the private sector.
  • Create and promote crowdfunding platforms that allow individual and professional investors to invest in SMEs and DLAs.
  • Conduct “C4D” (Change for Development) campaigns in various territorial development sectors.
  • Foster complementarity between decentralized local authorities (DLAs) and the private sector in implementing municipal or regional development, growth, and employment strategies.
  • Contribute to capacity building for decentralized local authorities.
  • Promote municipal, regional, and national expertise in economic and social development.
  • To create a database of investments by Decentralized Territorial Authorities (Regions and Municipalities)
