Design and implementation of a mapping management module in Cameroon via a platform

Summary

Infrastructure management is crucial for the socio-economic development of Cameroon [1]. However, it is hampered by a lack of accessibility and interaction with geographic data [2]. To meet this challenge, this thesis proposes the design and implementation of a module for infrastructure mapping management, as part of the “ArrdelBee-Territorial Digital” platform. This platform aims to facilitate the diagnosis, planning and development of infrastructure through the integration of modern mapping technologies. The approach is based on a microservices architecture and V methodology [3], ensuring a sequential and rigorous approach to development. In this project, Webmapping plays a central role by enabling the creation and use of interactive maps via the Internet. Unlike traditional Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Webmapping focuses on ease of access and online interaction, allowing users to view and interact with real-time infrastructures, from any connected device [4]. Users will be able to explore detailed geospatial data, such as road, rail, health and educational infrastructure, and export ………
